Sponsoring a family throughout the year is a great way to help families meet daily needs.
Liberty Lane can meet some needs via our donation room. Our donation room usually contains some clothing items, personal care items and limited groceries, etc. However, if a family has particular dietary or cultural needs, then we are usually unable to assist. Our donation room may be full of clothing and shoes, but they may not be seasonally appropriate or the correct size. Sponsoring a family entails donating gift cards for various stores/gas stations to help them meet their daily needs, whether it is buying extra fruit and vegetables for a vegetarian diet, purchasing medications, or putting gas in the car, etc. We ask that any of the above gift cards have a maximum denomination of $25 per card. You can donate 1 gift card or multiple gift cards for local stores or gas stations, whatever you are able. Every donation is welcome. Another wonderful way to Sponsor, is to give the gift of entertainment or dining out, something our families never or very rarely experience. Gift cards for the movies, for various local experiences/events, or to local dining establishments is a great way to help families have a fun experience, and take some time out of their normal daily routine.
